Pratipaksha (sanscrit) - "rival"

Bhavana (sanscrit) - "sensation", "imagination", "notion".

Sensation of "rival", that is to say thoughts that prevent to get into the essence of things and skill to work with them.

Inside-meditation in which stability of attention can be developed under all states of mind.

Pratipaksha-bhavana helps to expose neuroses of mind and to use them as a practice.

This method helps in everyday life not to escape from them but brings open attitude to everyday situations.
